When wiring up the flash pattern mode of a light system, use the yellow color coded wire; then you’ll always know exactly which wire is going where. ETD uses 18 gauge wires in all its products and has made additional wire (red, black, yellow, white) available in the Accessories section of its website. All our wires meet the AWG electrical code standard which was established in 1857 when electrical wiring was first used. 18 gauge is the perfect width for wiring ETD’s lights. There is a 2’ minimum when ordering wire from us.
